1. Agreement
These Terms govern your use of the Cairn website and platform. By creating a workspace or using the service you agree to them on behalf of yourself and the organisation you represent. Enterprise customers may have a separate written agreement, which takes precedence.
2. Accounts and workspaces
You’re responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping credentials secure and for all activity in your workspace. Administrators control who can access a workspace and what they can do.
3. Acceptable use
You may not use Cairn to break the law, infringe others’ rights, send spam, attempt to access systems without authorisation or build agents that make consequential decisions about individuals without appropriate human review.
4. Agents and actions
Agents act on your behalf using the tools and permissions you grant. You’re responsible for configuring instructions, permissions and approval gates appropriately, and for reviewing actions taken in your connected systems. Shadow mode and approval gates are provided to help you do this safely.
5. Customer data
You retain all rights to the data you bring to Cairn. You grant us the limited rights needed to provide the service. Our Data Processing Agreement and Privacy Policy describe how we process and protect it.
6. Fees and billing
Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Usage above your plan’s included runs is billed in arrears at the rates on our pricing page. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or stated in your order.
7. Availability and support
We work to keep the platform available and publish service status. Uptime commitments and service credits apply to plans that include an SLA.
8. Intellectual property
Cairn and its licensors own the platform, documentation and brand. Feedback you choose to share may be used to improve the service without obligation to you.
9. Disclaimers and liability
Except as expressly stated, the service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential damages, and each party’s total liability is limited to the fees paid in the twelve months before the claim.
10. Termination
You can cancel at any time from workspace settings. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms. On termination you can export your data for 30 days.
11. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms and will give notice of material changes at least 30 days in advance. Questions can be sent through our contact page.
